Happy Birthday, Mickey Mouse!
Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. He was voiced by Walt Disney from 1928–1946 theatrically, and again from 1955–1959 for the original ABC TV The Mickey Mouse Club television series. The Walt Disney Company celebrates his birth as November 18, 1928, upon the release of Steamboat Willie which was released at the Colony Theater in New York on Nov. 18, 1928, although Mickey had already appeared six months earlier in an unfinished test screening of Plane Crazy (Steamboat Willie being the first Mickey Mouse Cartoon to be released).

Germany at Night [Epcot]
From AllEars.net:
Fantasy, folklore and festivity abound as you step into a German village where the sounds of Oktoberfest fill the air. In the center of the square is a statue of St. George and the dragon, which, according to legend, he slayed while on a pilgrimage to the Middle East. Monuments to St. George, the patron saint of soldiers, are common throughout Bavaria. The Biergarten reflects the 16th century town of Rothenberg.

A View from the Crystal Palace
"Night Picture taken just out side of the Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. Canon S95 Shutter 2 sec, Aperture at 2 and iso at 80. I used a near by ledge to set the camera on and set a timer so the camera would stay nice and still. This image is as is with no post editing. Not to bad for a Point and shoot"

Fountain of Nations at Epcot
Imagineering the Shot
"Epcot’s Fountain of Nations is one of my all-time favorite things to shoot in Walt Disney World. For this shot I knew I wanted to use a long exposure in order to blur the water and make it look smooth. I also decided to use HDR to capture the huge range of highlights and shadows throughout the scene. Because it was not yet dark outside I used a circular polarizing filter to block some light and enhance the color in the sky. I also set my aperture to f/22 and my ISO to 100 to give me the longest possible exposure. The resulting 3 shutter speeds were 2 seconds (EC = 0), 0.5 seconds (EC = -2), and 8 seconds (EC = +2). In this case EC stands for exposure compensation. To accomplish this, I set up my tripod right up against the railing and enabled Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) and set the timer to countdown from 2 seconds to eliminate any camera shake that comes from pressing the shutter release button."

Cinderella Castle in HDR by Lee Gonzalez
"I'm starting to dabble a little more in HDR photography while trying different things. Processing images differently, taking them differently, etc. Here's a shot from yesterday when I was at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida with my family. This shot was 7 exposures taken with Aperture Priority. This image took about 3 hours of processing."

Town Square Exposition Hall at Night
Imagineering the Shot
Exposition Hall in Town Square is a great place to stop on the way out of the Magic Kingdom. Nice, cool air conditioning and lots to look at inside. There are also rocking chairs on the porch to rest your bones after a day of walking (or running) through the park. With all of the light bulbs on this sign and the dark blue color of the sky, this looked like it could be something good. Taken with a Canon Powershot S500, f/2.8 ISO 100.
